Since 1991, Our Daily Bread has been open five days a week, including holidays, because of the great need and because volunteers are willing to prepare and serve the meals.  Our Daily Bread routinely feeds 100 to 250 persons daily, with demand for services escalating during the latter part of each month. 

The organization that is now "Our Daily Bread"  was originally developed as an outreach ministry, organized by area churches to address hunger within our community. 

Today, Our Daily Bread is managed by a Board of Directors made up of volunteers who share this same interest.  Our board president is Howard Heilman.

Our paid staff consists of part-time office manager and a part time administrator, Rodney Homer, who oversee the daily needs of the facility.
