Volunteers also unload trucks, organize shelves, and assist visitors with basic needs, such as getting the meal, finding clothing size, or offering a listening ear, encouragement, or possibly prayer. |
Community Service Because of court orders or directions from various agencies, individuals often choose Our Daily Bread as their choice for performing community service. By assisting in areas similar to that of volunteers, community service individuals find a sense of worth, and accomplishment, They gain valuable work and social skills. In addition, many community service agencies offer free blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetic testing, and other health-related screening. |

Our Employed
Staff Our facility operates under the direction of a part-time office manager a part-time office director. This staff facilitates the ordering of food and meal preparation, coordinates and oversees the work of volunteers and community service individuals. Our director also acts as a liaison between the kitchen, our clients, and the community. |
Funding We depend solely on the generosity of individuals, business, organizations, and churches to meet the financial needs of a commercial-size facility that feeds hundreds each week. Gifts are used frugally to cover costs of food, basic supplies, utilities, and the modest payroll necessary to this ministry operation. |
